The funeral of Fr Derek will take place at St Peters Church, Doncaster Road, Barnsley S70 1JQ at 1 pm on Wednesday 25th May 2016.

The service will be a Requiem Mass with Bishop Tony (who will be preaching). After the service the interment will be at Silkstone Parish Church with family and Clergy only.

Priest members of The Society or SSC are invited to concelebrate (please let Fr Paul Cartwright know your intention so that enough seats can be provided). Please bring a purple chasuble.

Fr Derek will be received into Church the night before at 4.30 pm

There will be a funeral tea after the service in the Church hall.

Please share lifts wherever possible as parking will be at a premium.

All are welcome to join Fr Rodney Marshall and the people of St Helen's, Athersley, in celebration of his Ruby Jubilee of Priesthood.
