Arrangements for the Funeral Rites of Canon Stuart Ramsden SSC

At 3.30pm on Friday 2 February Fr Stuart's body will be simply received into S Peter's, Barnsley.
At noon the following day, 3 February the Funeral Mass with will be celebrated at S Peter's Barnsley, S70 1JQ
(Priests of The Society/SSC wishing to concelebrate are asked to notify Fr Paul Cartwright fr.paul.cartwright@googlemail.com and bring Purple Vestments)
A private committal will follow after the service.

Canon Stuart Ramsden RIP

With sadness we announce that Canon Stuart Ramsden SSC died fortified by the Sacraments of the Church on 28 January 2018 in Barnsley Hospital.

The Bishop Of Wakefield said, "Fr Stuart Ramsden was a much loved and faithful priest. He was well known and appreciated in the Wakefield and Barnsley area. For the past few months Stuart has struggled with his health. We pray for his soul now that he is at rest. May Christ welcome him to paradise! May he rest in peace."
